From winter magic in Quebec City to retro fever in Montreal: A look back at a record-breaking weekend!

The weekend of November 29 and 30, 2025 marked the real kick-off to the festive season for Les Gars des Jeux. As winter slowly settled in, our teams were out in full force, transforming corporate and municipal events into memorable souvenirs.

This weekend was a real operational stress test that we passed with flying colours, deploying our equipment from Quebec City to Montreal.. Here’s a look back at this weekend’s stars: our games and our partners.

Destination Québec: “Le Campanile s’illumine” (The Campanile lights up)

For this enchanting outdoor event on rue du Campanile, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Agence 714 (for the Rivages project). The challenge? Create a warm outdoor atmosphere despite the cold.

The stars of the activation :

  • Giant Illuminated Igloo: A true visual centerpiece, our 20×20-foot igloo served as a rallying point.. Secured with over a ton of ballast to withstand Quebec City winds, the structure offered a spectacular visual effect, validated by our team at dawn..

  • Toss the Pine Tree: A creative adaptation perfect for the season! This game, which involves throwing fir trees of various sizes at targeted areas, has proved that you can have fun without electricity, even in winter..

  • Axe Throwing (Safe Version): To guarantee a risk-free family party, we opted for our plastic version. An ideal solution that allowed young and old alike to test their skills in complete safety..

  • Slap Shot Classic: Timeless, our field hockey game has found its natural place in this winter setting..

Destination Montréal: Retro ambience at Château Classique

Meanwhile, in Saint-Léonard, the atmosphere was electric at the Château Classique for the Christmas Party organized by Hubz 404 in collaboration with Sync Productions.

For this event, nostalgia was the order of the day. Despite the logistical challenges (delivery upstairs!), our team transformed the room into a real 90s arcade..

The evening’s “Gamer” selection :

Flawless logistics

The success of this weekend also relies on the diversity of our inventory. From Bulle Soccer deployed for the Maison des Jeunes St-Donat to complex inflatables, we proved our ability to manage very different needs simultaneously.

A huge thank you to our partners (Agence 714, Hubz 404, Sync Productions) for their confidence, and bravo to our field team (Sami, Rajab and the others) who ensured precise editing, whether early in the morning in the cold of Quebec City or on the stairs of Montreal..

The holiday season is officially underway, and Les Gars des Jeux is ready! 🚀
